Phoenix mailing list

The phoenix mailing list is a friendly transsexual mailing list for both pre-op and post-op transsexuals. It's generally regarded as a good place for pre-ops and post-ops to interact, and talk about their experiences.

Post-op mailing lists

I know of two post-op mailing lists.

The first is one I started. It allows both post-op and pre-op transsexuals to join. I started it in Feb '99 and it's currently very slow. You can join this list, or find out more about it, by clicking here.

The second mailing list allows only post-op transsexuals to join. It's been running for more than two years. You can join this list by:

going to http://www.genderweb.org/cgi-bin/majorgender
Enter in your email address
Check 'all' under 'browse which lists'
Click 'go'
Check the box next to post-op
Click 'apply'

Why does one list allow pre-ops, and the other doesn't? Because some post-ops don't feel comfortable having pre-ops on a post-op mailing list. I personally feel that the list topic should define what will be discussed, not who may join. back...
